All Luminox watches are Swiss made. Luminox watches is know for its illumination system. It is the choice watch for many military personnel and athletes. Luminox watches utilize a special type of self-powered illumination system called Luminox Light Technology (LLT). The technology calls for the use of tiny self-powered micro gas light capsules. These capsules are individually installed on the hands, markers, and/or the bezel of every Luminox watch. Unlike conventional illumination technology, these micro gas lights do not need to be charged and typically glows longer and brighter. Typically these capsules can glow up to 25 years. The illumination system has a 10 year warranty.
